King's Day 2023
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia, with the support of the Dutch-Colombian Chamber of Commerce - Holland House, organized a celebration to commemorate King's Day. This event took place in the city of Bogota on April 27th and brought together the members of the Dutch community in Colombia, as well as Colombian government officials and representatives of local companies and organizations.
During the celebration, the attendees enjoyed a wide variety of cultural and gastronomic activities that reflect the rich culture and traditions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. During the event, tastings of Dutch gastronomy were offered, such as cheese, herring and bitterballen. The Dutch Caribbean was also present during the event with a band from Curaçao that delighted the attendees with their music.
The Ambassador of the Netherlands to Colombia, Ernst Noorman, emphasized the importance of strengthening the cultural and commercial ties between Colombia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and highlighted the role of the Dutch-Colombian Chamber of Commerce - Holland House during the last 10 years since its creation.
The King's Day Celebration in Colombia was a unique opportunity for attendees to enjoy the culture and traditions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, while strengthening commercial and cultural ties between the nations.
