Holland House is recognized for its commitment to sustainability and decarbonisation
Holland House Colombia was recognized for its commitment to sustainability by the European Union delegation and the LCBA (Low Carbon Business Action) program, a platform that aims to develop B2B value-added relationships between low carbon technology suppliers from the European Union and companies exploring sustainable solutions in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
The award ceremony took place during the 'Our Sustainable Pact' event, held within the framework of the LCBA program and in collaboration between the European Union and Colombia. The event brought together more than 270 people, including Mario Mariani, Head for the Americas of the European Union's Foreign Policy Instruments; Gilles Bertrand, Ambassador of the European Union to Colombia; and representatives of the Member States in Colombia, as well as the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
During the event, the first LCBA seals of sustainability were awarded to 25 projects that have been successful within Colombia. Furthermore, 23 Colombian companies and 22 European organizations were awarded, including Holland House Colombia and more organizations dedicated to plants projects for the production of renewable energy; plants for the recovery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste; plants for the production of biofertilizers and biogas; installation and distribution of electric mobility stations; green hydrogen generation from solar energy, among others.
This recognition is awarded to Holland House for its commitment to decarbonization and the company's orientation towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly production practices. Since its foundation, Holland House Colombia has worked incessantly towards a sustainable future, acting as the bridge that connects Colombian and Dutch entrepreneurs. Its commitment extends to encouraging sustainable practices that have a positive impact on the community, as well as on its members, allies and clients belonging to different economic sectors.

Holland House Colombia has carried out several initiatives that stimulate sustainability, including training programs, events focused on the circular economy and the promotion of clean technologies. These actions have had a positive impact on the business sector and encouraged the implementation of more sustainable practices among the chamber's member companies.
