NWP (Netherlands Water Partnership), the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Holland House Colombia joined forces to promote a sustainable future during the 66th edition of the International Congress on Water, Sanitation, Environment and Renewable Energy, ACODAL, held at the Agora Center in Bogotá. During this occasion, 10 Dutch organizations that were selected through a call with the support of NWP, participated and represented the Netherlands during the event.
This year, the Dutch delegation was formed by ANTEA GROUP, Aquatech, CONSORCIO HERMANA, Deltares, Nijhuis Saur Industries, NX Filtration, Paques, PAVCO WAVIN, Rainmaker Holland BV and Wequips. These companies deal with various water sectors: from water production systems, technology and sustainable solutions; research in the field of integrated water; potable water conductivity, sewerage, rainwater management; to construction within the maritime sector and Latin American infrastructure; among others.
The main goal of this trade fair participation was to give more visibility to Dutch companies within the Colombian market, and the results exceeded all expectations. During the congress, fruitful conversations took place and useful business opportunities were created, not to mention the exchange of knowledge that resulted among the participating companies, which stressed working on sustainability issues within the water sector.
In the future, we will continue to work together, NWP, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Holland House Colombia and all parties involved, in order to promote the development and innovation within the field of water, as well as to promote environmental protection.
