TOC Americas returns from 20 to 22 October 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia. We invite Dutch companies to join the NL Lounge, organised by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia and Holland House Colombia, and take part in Latin America’s leading technical conference and exhibition for ports and container terminals.

The NL Lounge provides a strategic platform for Dutch companies to explore concrete business opportunities in Colombia and across the wider Latin American region, while strengthening their visibility and positioning within the regional port and logistics ecosystem.

As Latin America consolidates its role as a growing manufacturing and logistics hub, Colombia is accelerating the development and expansion of its port infrastructure to enhance regional and global supply chains. Flagship projects such as Puerto Pisisí and the expansion of Puerto Antioquia reflect a strong focus on high-performance ports, improved hinterland connectivity, and integrated logistics systems. These developments are generating demand for transport infrastructure, logistics parks, warehousing, and value-added services, while opening opportunities in digitalisation, automation, resilience, and the transition towards net-zero ports.

Colombia plays a strategic role as a logistics and transshipment hub connecting the Caribbean, Central America, and both Atlantic and Pacific trade corridors. Cartagena, the host city of TOC Americas 2026, stands out for its high-performing container terminals, advanced operational practices, and strong private-sector participation.

Why participate in TOC Americas through the NL Lounge 

TOC Americas is the leading technical conference and exhibition in the Americas for container terminals, port efficiency, and supply chain performance. The event brings together senior executives, port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines, technology providers, equipment manufacturers, and investors. It combines a high-level conference programme (covering terminal operations, automation, digitalisation, sustainability, and supply chain integration) with a specialised exhibition showcasing the latest port and terminal solutions.

NL Lounge facilities 

Within the 18 m² NL Lounge, participating companies will benefit from:

Target participants 

Participation is open to companies from the Kingdom of the Netherlands (the Netherlands, Curaçao, Aruba, and St. Maarten), active in areas such as: 

• Terminal design, engineering, and optimisation 

• Port and terminal equipment (container handling, yard equipment, automation systems) 

• Port automation, digitalisation, and smart port solutions 

• Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), data, and supply chain visibility solutions 

• Port logistics, hinterland connectivity, and intermodal solutions 

• Energy transition, electrification, and decarbonisation solutions for ports and terminals 

• Dredging and port infrastructure (port access and capacity expansion) 

• Consulting services focused on terminal operations, port performance, and supply chain efficiency 

Companies are encouraged to participate at general manager, regional business manager, or country manager level. 

Corporate Social Responsibility 

The Dutch government attaches great importance to corporate social responsibility, including respect for human rights, and endorses the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. Compliance with these guidelines is a condition for participation in the NL Lounge. 

Costs 

The participation fee is EUR 1,000 per person, which includes full access to TOC Americas, the complete conference and exhibition programme, matchmaking activities, and networking moments. The fee excludes travel, accommodation, and personal expenses. NL Lounge participants will have access to preferential hotel rates offered by the event organisers.

Participation is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
