Aruba and Curaçao protagonists in ANATO 2023
- ANATO (Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies) is the organizer of the Vitrina Turística, the event that since 1982 has been consolidated as the most important tourism event in Colombia.
- The fair was born out of the need to provide tourism service providers with a space to offer their products to national and international destinations.
From February 22 to 24, 2023, Colombia experienced the 42nd edition of ANATO's Vitrina Turística, with the participation of more than 1,200 exhibitors who showcased the country's tourism offer and other international destinations, including Aruba and Curaçao.
In the 2023 edition, as part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Aruba and Curaçao, showed their attractiveness in an impressive way and left the Colombian partners with the desire to "feel it for yourself" in Curaçao and "live new experiences" with Aruba.
The preliminary figure for the closing days of the event was 38,000 participants, an increase of 40% compared to 2022. This year, the Dominican Republic was the international guest of honor, while the archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina was the national destination. In addition, one of the novelties of the version: the "appointment scheduling" tool created by ANATO to facilitate meetings between participants, which in this edition allowed 14,000 meetings on the days enabled.
During the first day of the event Holland House Colombia accompanied the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ernst Noorman at the inauguration of the Aruba stand and the Minister of Economy and Development of Curaçao, Ruisandro M Cijntje at the inauguration of the Curaçao stand.
