Knowledge Sessions on Renewable Hydrogen for Latin America
(Cycle of 4 webinars focused on Green Hydrogen – H₂V)
Evento Cerrado
Renewable hydrogen is at a crucial point in the energy transition, acting as a bridge between renewable electricity and sustainable fuels. As a flexible energy carrier, hydrogen enables the generation, storage, and global transport of renewable energy on a large scale, opening new opportunities for decarbonization and strengthening energy security.
Within this sphere, the Netherlands is rapidly advancing in the development and consolidation of technologies, infrastructure, and global partnerships to seize these opportunities and unlock the full potential of renewable hydrogen. Latin America, in turn, is emerging as a key player in the development of green hydrogen, thanks to its abundance of wind and solar resources and the availability of natural resources for large-scale projects.
To transform this shared potential into concrete results, strong international partnerships are required, as well as collaboration among industry stakeholders and knowledge exchange. In this context, the Regional Business Development (RBD) team of the Embassies of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Latin America is offering a series of 4 knowledge sessions on renewable hydrogen for the region, fostering cooperation on renewable hydrogen topics.
These 4 knowledge sessions are divided into two main blocks: the first 3 sessions focus on Dutch innovation and technology for renewable hydrogen, covering topics such as electrolysis, renewable hydrogen transport, and innovative technologies for liquid hydrogen. The fourth session focuses on the requirements of the European Union for the import of Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO), providing an introduction to the European market.
Each session will feature renowned panelists and experts in the renewable hydrogen sector, including TNO, XINTC, Bosch Transmission Technology, Schaeffler, Strohm, Soluforce, Kiwa Technology, Stirling Cryogenics, among others.
